Steven “Skip” Brown brings two decades of consulting and education in the areas of accounting,
finance and technology to Big Idea Advisors. He provides creative solutions and
personalized customer service, competitively, to large companies and
governmental agencies. Skip has quickly
distinguished his firm in the business community by helping customers solve complex issues and by
providing outstanding consulting and training.
His leadership skills and very intricate knowledge of accounting,
finance and business processes across a
broad spectrum of businesses has proven to be outstanding. Skip prides himself on seeing satisfied
customers who invest in long term solutions and investments in their companies’
futures.
Beginning his career in Arthur Andersen & Co., he
developed an interest in the growing relationship between technology,
accounting and business processes. He
moved from accountancy to the City of Seattle and was recruited by
PeopleSoft. Skip has a strong
entrepreneurial drive and founded Big Idea Advisors, LLC in 2003. He wanted to develop a training and
consulting firm that would competitively solve complex issues
using creative techniques for organizations and government agencies. Today that dream has been realized and Big
Idea Advisors provides training, implementation and consulting services for UPK, SAP, Oracle ERP, PeopleSoft and any other mission critical enterprise applications.
Skip has acted as the engagement manager to a number of customers including the California
State University system, the State of Indiana, AM General, University of
Minnesota, County of Riverside, California, City of Seattle and Ameriquest
Mortgage.
